The Sharing Shed is a community resource available to all Edgerton residents. It provides a place where neighbors can donate gently used items and where others may browse and take items they need or would like—no cost, no appointments.



Built on the spirit of sharing and helping one another, the Sharing Shed helps reduce waste while supporting members of the community.

How the

Sharing Shed Works

  • Residents may donate items they no longer need
  • Residents may take items they find useful
  • No registration or sign-up required
  • Open to all residents

Location & Access

  • Open 24 hours a day
  • Located next to the Edgerton Post Office
  • Accessible year-round

Helpful Guidelines

To keep the Sharing Shed useful and welcoming for everyone, residents are encouraged to:

  • Donate clean, usable items only
  • Be respectful of shared space and other users
  • Take only what you need so others may benefit
